TopBand: Top Band signal escapes W9 Black Hole

Last night found a YV on 80 CW, so tried 160 around 0230 even with A at 16 and
K of 5. There at 1840 Khz CW, all alone, was Carlos TI4CF calling CQ....
signal was well above the S9 noise level. Could not quite cut it with 100
watts to low dipole, but 500 watts made for a solid contact.
