Before email we somehow got along without sending back a photocopy of the
complete received message.

A line here and there is enough, as the sender knows what was sent.

I find the unnecessary repetition even more inconvenient than personal
insults. The repetition multiplies my mailbox filespace Mbytes, as Eudora
does not allow deletion of text from incoming messages.

You would not consider it so unimportant if you were in a country where you
have to pay by the kilobyte.
