Hi all,
I thank the pilots that had passed along my (and Steve's, VK6VZ) previous
request to the team. Today, 3B7RF QSYed from 3507 kHz - and about ten
minutes later, at 2230z (our sunrise), I heard his beautiful signal on
1826.5, UP 5. The pile-up from EU was enormous - whereas fifteen minutes
earlier, at 2215z, I met G3FPQ on 1828.3 in a "quieter band". Nice to hear
EU callers with big signals, of course!
But, although its signal is still strong, 3B7RF didn't last long on the
band. After a few EU (only) contacts, at 2252z, it sent: 'QSY to 80M'. I
believe they're having heavy QRN there. No YB/YC qso, yet.
