Hello Reflectees,
I was recently told that DXCC does not require for there to be an exchange
of reports for a valid qso to result. This combined with the fact that our
call can now also be incorrect in the log is in my view watering things
down just a bit to far.
Topbanders have often been critical of "net "assisted" qsos. In my view it
is is even more questionable to "complete" a qso by using a letter or
telephone call to the qsl manager to have an incorrectly copied call
rectified.
On the other hand the decision to issue a card rests entirely with the dx /
qsl manager (and is very much a personal decision).
