Looks like a lot of NA got a new one last evening. Judging by the
over-calling, I gather that not everyone was hearing the DX as strongly as
we in these parts. When I had my QSO (0017z) he was a true 589 yet others
calling and being called right after were asked for repeats and asked for
same.
CN8WW stayed at 589 until 0035 when he slowly began to slide toward the
noise. At 0115 he was still copyable but only at 559 or less.
If you listened to CN8WW on 20M at about the same time you were treated to a
really first class show by the op at the other end in a huge pileup(is it a
YL?). Very fast, very efficient, just like the op on 160. A great team.
Looks like this should be a fairly easy one for most in the east as long as
propagation holds, so good luck to all.
