As I have read, Bob NM7M has done a lot of good work
researching ionospheric conditions, and anomolies. I'm
wondering if there is any material out there that explains
radio propagation in Quantum Electro Dynamics theory.

As an example of how photons work: On would think that
photons travel along the path of shortest distance between
two points?
But NO - photons follow the path of shortest TIME between
2 points.

I think all sorts of strange things are going on in the
ionosphere to funnel our radio waves(or particles?) into
different paths.
The book, QED by Richard Feynman explains a lot of photon
theory. Any good books out there that explain radio
propagation the same way?
