I told myself that once was enough, but then I thought that a couple
more pictures of my driven element might be even more helpful than
those already mentioned.
The first shows the base of the 160M driven element tower and where
the matching circuit feeds the four 1/4 inch copper tubing skirt
"wires." A few of the fiberglass standoffs (electric fence posts)
are shown. Note the robin on the bird bath to the left of the
picture. She's standing in front of some of my Beverage coaxes.
I've got the bird practicing cw but she's still got some chirp in
her signal...

The second (and final) picture was taken from the 70' high level of
my EU 160M reflector (/SPac director). The driven element is at the
left and the four skirt "wires" can be easily seen. The EU director
is pretty much hid by the driven element. The horizon towards
Europe is obviously pretty flat close by. Most of the 80/40 meter
elements can be seen to the right. At the extreme upper right you
can see the edge of the tuning coil on the European reflector that
I'm standing on. It's wound on the fiberglass tubing that makes up
the top 20' of the 160M parasitics.

That's it for pictures from me...
