Similar antenna has been up for 2 years. Full size 80M vertical of =
aluminum tubing with a wire 160 inverted L along side and then =
horizontal to tower with 64 on ground radials, 60 to 70 ft long plus =
another 20 about 20 ft long. Both ant fed together through coax and no =
network. Dimensions turned out a little longer than calcuated with =
standard formula. Modest interaction between ant when adjusting length.=20

Before building, modeling performed using EZNEC. Close spacing, 6"-12" =
distorted patterns less than 3' to 10 ' spacing. Leaving the unused =
antenna either floating or grounded resulted in major pattern =
distortions plus complex feed impedance. Feeding both together was ok in =
model and has worked in practise.
