Topband: 160m mobile

Mobile DX is possible under good condx - congrats to Roland N1JOY/M who
was making it across the pond 55 this morning around 0200. But to put
that in context some W1 stations were 30dB stronger at times under the
excellent condx to that area. How many dB down on, say, a 1/4 wave
vertical would a truck mounted mobile whip be expected to be?
