Topband: Battle Creek Special for 160m ops

I would like to hear from users of the Battle Creek Special (tube version) 
vertical for 160m regarding performance. If used in recent 160m contest or 
Stew Perry what sort of DX?  Also what sort of radial system (many short 
radials or a few long)?  Please reply direct.
