Hi Larry,

in this case I was not pointing out about the coax placement because of
safety reasons.
The cables, running from the base of a shunt fed tower to a yagi antenna, or
to a rotator, are more or less following the voltage distribution along the
tower, expecially if the cables are kept close to the tower and grounded at
tower base.
This fact sets the fed element of a yagi to the same RF potential of the
boom or all the cables of a rotor to the same RF level avoiding damages.
