Topband: Help

Need some advice!   I want to put up an inverted L with an apex of about 60
ft.  I understand that a wire length of over 1/4 wave is preferred and
because of being longer, requires fewer ground wires which is a problem
here.  I can get out maybe 6 or 8.  Some one told me about 167 feet but want
to ask the experts.  Thanks in advance,
