Another alternative to the WF-1 is to use a couple of RF chokes and
blocking capacitors (one pair in the shack and one pair at the antenna)
to shove the audio back up feeder coax to a pair of headphones at the
antenna. You could also shove the AGC voltage from the receiver back
up to the antenna and use a remote S-meter. In either case, you won't
need to introduce any significant lengths of additional wire into the
antenna's immediate environment.
