Hallo to all the Topbanders,
about the qrss on topband, i dont think that this mode will be useful =
for check propagation in this band, except for short range propagation.
I' m active in LF here in Europe at 136 Khz, and the propagation that we =
have in LF is many many different from the propagation that we have in =
160!!
Very low QSB on LF, stable signal for hour, and ground or skywave in =
night propagation, for a single qrss qso we need about 30 minutes.
But in 160 the propagation si many different, very deep and fast qsb, =
the path change also very quickly from zone to zone and sweep around =
many thousand kilometers.
And were there is qrss traffic is impossible to made traffic in normal =
CW, so this system is not so used also in LF, about the 30% of station =
use the qrss, while all the other use the aural CW, i think that in 160 =
will be forgotten soon!!
73 to all de Giulio IK2DED.
