Topband: Forthcoming Operations From Singapore

Folks,

The Singapore Amateur Radio Transmitting Society (SARTS) will be holding
field day operations from St John's Island off the southern coast of
Singapore from the afternoon of Friday 5th to midday Monday 8th September
2003.  Two stations will be active on 160-10m with the special prefix S61FD.


S61FD will have experienced 160/80m operators Bob Marshall-Read G4VGO and
Peter Cook 9V1PC operational. This team will focus on low band operations
using and inverted L for transmit and a variety of loops, pennants and
possibly beverages for low noise receive.  1 kW transmit power should be
available.  

St John's island is in Region 3, IOTA AS19, CQ Zone 28, ITU Zone 54.

QSL cards should be sent to "Incoming QSL Manager, SARTS, Robinson Road P.O.
Box 2728, Singapore 904728"
