Hi Thomas and all,

>Radio Resources & More" at http://www.kn4lf.com/kn4lf.htm and came across

If trees were even remotely effective as a radiators at lower frequencies,
many of us would be in deep trouble on transmitting or while running
Beverages through woods. Even a very thick stand of trees has questionable
effect from lower VHF down through VLF, the effect is so small no one has
documented it.

We can find almost anything if we search out and accept articles that were
never peer reviewed or offer no verified proof as fact. We just have to look
at them with a critical eye and common sense, and see if they seem
reasonable compared to known and proven situations.
