Classic sunrise long path Milt!
1356 out of the noise from ZL (SW LP mode)
1400 559 QSO (ZL direction)
1415 N5IA sunrise...all directions (ZL to KL7)
1418 best toward JA
1425 all North antennas (JA to VE6)
1428 gone
I wouldn't be surprised if it was mostly high
angle beginning at Milt's sunrise.
For those on the East Coast, K1ZM
worked HS72B yesterday at 2203z. Jeff reported
first hearing them at 2140z (Jeff's sunset 2124z)
with signals peaking 449 from the SE around
22z.
This was the equivalent sunset long path
mode. W4MYA also worked VK9XG at about
the same time on the same path (SE). Congrats
Bob and Jeff! Patience and persistence is rewarded!
FYI, Dietmar and Tom are returning
tomorrow so there will be no more 80m after
today. Robin will continue on 160m and will
cease operating at 16z on Saturday prior to
his return flight Sunday.
73 & GL to all!
