Topband: FO/A in Europe

Hello reflectees !
I had a lite copy of FO/OH6KN this a.m. from about 0535 to 0545z, as well as a few other EUs. Strange enough i could barely hear the US stns he wkd.Sometimes looked like split operation.
But surely the propagation died after that for this long shot or he QRTed before EU got to hear him real well.
Prop was OK, as N7JW was blasting in on a 589 wave, compared to ydays 449 low surf sigs. A few 5ers made it as well, making the more southernly path look like the winner.
It sure would be great if somebody would alert the FO of EUs calling him, if prop is favourable. Split operation of course is unquestionable the mode of choice.
