Topband: Technique for Putting Down Radials?

I did not read it that way, but yes you are right.  The radials need to be 
bonded together at the base of the tower so that there is no large IR drop.  I 
see no problem with having everyother one connected together at the edge of the 
radial field since they will be effectivly shorted together at the tower.
