Don Do you have a portable shortwave receiver, perhaps like the Sony 2010 or others that are out there? Or maybe somewhere you could borrow one? Try walking around your neighborhood with it and see if you still hear the signal. This will help determine if it is local to your QTH or from off your property. Good luck and 73 Bob N6WG
