Pete, KJ7WY (who also worked 3B9C on 160m) e-mailed me that he has a list
of 13 southwestern USA stations that have QSOed 3B9C on 160m. He
provided the coordinates of AB7E as 31.4N, 110.2W. That makes AB7E the
farthest (via short path) from 3B9C:
W9NGA = 18553.086 km (11528.353 mi) at grid subsquare DM41lt (the center
of which is at 31.8125N, 111.041667W) at a 23.13 degree bearing.
AB7E = 18563.010 km (11534.519 mi) at a 26.95 degree bearing.
It's interesting to note the relatively large difference in beam headings
to 3B9C for two stations in Arizona that are less than 56 miles from each
other. This is typical for near-antipodal distances.
