It occurred to me that the Arizona and New Mexico stations that worked
3B9C all had to be at their sunset on a short path bearing of ~25
degrees. Here in southern Calif at my sunset, it would have to be on a
long path bearing of 176 degrees, so propagation condx may be entirely
different on those two paths at sunset times that are less than an hour
later here.
3B9C was quite strong on 80m yesterday on long path at my sunset, but nil
was heard on 160m. He also does quite nicely on 80m at my sunrise on
short path.
No skew path (east or west) propagation has been noted here on his 80m
signals.
