Hi Bob,  No flames from me.....but....
One reason there's a LOT of CQing going on is that "fresh meat"
is hard to find after the first night's hunt!  Tune around, carefully,
after
working say, 400 stations, and you'll find that most of the stations
calling CQ are the one's you've already logged.
