Can anyone comment on the advisability of powering-up a remote DC (24v) relay - about 200 ft away with a single wire with the other side simply the ground? It would be a dedicated supply not connected to anything else... They did it fine with the early landline telegraphs ...?? 73 Pete, W2PM
