Topband: VK9XG on air

G'day

Just to let those interested know that Charlie VK9XG got onto the air 
around US sunrise and has a 160m tx antenna up, but no rx antennas yet.  I 
worked him on 1827.5 about half an hour before his sunset, so he is getting 
out.

Unfortunately, conditions on 160m down here on the eastern edge of the 
Indian Ocean are pretty poor this evening - lots of QRN and not a lot of 
propagation - so fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Please note that Charlie has no internet access this year from where he is 
staying/operating.
