Topband: Beverage over Good grnd

I am thinking abt a beverage for 160m recving. My ground condx are very organic and marshy and excellent for ground reflection. I have read that the beverage works best on lossy gorund, so I am thinking it may not be good in my situation. Any comments on this effect would be appreciated. My realestate situation (good lot depth) made a long wire possible in a desirable direction, but I only 50 feet lot width.
