Topband: bandpass filters

What you really need is a preselector, they are tunable with a Hi Q tuned  
circuit. That's what them new fancy new rigs lack, with their broad front  ends.
I used an old RME preselector back in my novice days, it sure pulled them  up 
out of the mud, but it didn't cover 160.
