Topband: AM in NM

I got up early this morning to listen for Randy and the boys over in BV.  Never heard them but the band was in quite good shape.  Casual calling netted 15 JA's although no signals were more than S-6.  DU9 and RA0 also worked.  Deep QSB was evident on all signals.

The AM broadcast mix product signal on 1.810.5 was quite strong until after sunup.  The signal was strongest on the JA Beverage at 315 degrees.  It created difficulty working one JA who was on the same freq as the mix product.
