Topband: Ground system for RX four square

Ian, take a look at Brian, K8BHZ's, Stone Hex, six element phased RX array. He developed a very innovative grounnd system that uses three, 8 foot ground rods per element that are tied together with radials (i.e., two). They exactly mirror the top hats that he uses for the verticals which run between the elements. There are no back guys or radials.
   
  I see no reason why this system could notbe used for a 4 el RX array.
