If station A has a transmitting antenna with completely different 
directional characteristics to that of station B, then it is surely 
conceivable that A to B takes a different path than B to A? On top-band in 
particular, many are using seperate receive and transmit antennas so the 
'non-reciprocity' effect could be evident.
