Topband: Boring Report - Directivity gone?

This discussion makes me wonder if my perceived flag issues, which
happened TWO days ago were the same thing...

I didn't seem to have F/B on signals coming from either direction...
F5IN was easily readable with the flag pointed in pretty much any
direction, but I measured the pattern last night on the TTL can pinger
placed maybe 400 feet East of my flag and got 20dB F/B and somewhat
deeper nulls either side of that.

Checks on DX and domestic signals last night showed reasonable results
here on skywave signals from all directions...

So, did any other East Coasters notice that their directive antennas
didn't seem to work TWO nights ago?
