-I use a sling shot from Walmart(or a sporting goods store), with a cheap
spinning reel attached to it , to shoot fishing monofiliament line over a
tree. a  lead fishing weight is attached to the mono line coming out of the
reel. then shot over tree.Then a line is attached to mono and pulled over...
 need to paint weight white so you can find it after its shot over.... as I
recall you can get reel, line , sling shot for less than $20...
