Greetings  Top Banders:

First of  all, thanks to Tree for approving this post.

I assist a friend who  contracts for a block of rooms at The Crowne Plaza 
in Dayton, with more  attractive rates than you could arrange for yourself.   
Each year we  quickly fill most of the rooms, and always have a few  
vacancies.    Such is the case for Hamvention  2011.    If you are interested in a 
room, with a commitment for 3  nights, within our block,  please contact me 
by direct  email.      First come, first served.

A good  portion of the downtown action is at The Crowne Plaza -- there are 
various  hospitality suites, as well as the The Top Band Dinner, Contest 
University, and  The Contest Dinner.
