Since you already have a full size 80 meter dipole and since your height 
above ground is good I would suggest you insert a pair of Unadilla KW-80 
traps in that dipole.  You will need to lengthen the ends to make it 
work on 160 but if that is a problem you can zig zag or right angle fold 
the far ends a bit to make it fit on your roof.  These traps have a 
resonant frequency of 3.625 Mhz so there should not be any negative 
impact on the 80 meter performance you currently have. I would presume 
you are in an urban environment so receiving is always a challenge on 
160.  But the dipole would be a much better bet than any vertical under 
those circumstance.


Good luck...I still need VU2 on 160 even though I have VU7!
