I agree. Some high-speed images of that airglow fanning out and apparently
actually coupling to the top of the ionosphere were quite intriguing.

That part near the end about that guy monitoring the earth's 8 Hz Schumann
resonance was also fascinating. Maybe some Topbander with more time than I
have will eventually discover that when a sprite --or some kind of event--
is detected on that scope, propagation is affected on 160! :-)

I'd like to know what those 3 different traces were on that scope, and more
about the short 8 Hz antenna system he was using. And did you notice that
that RX antenna had very large ceramic insulators all the way to the top? I
found that puzzling.
