    If I was KH6LC I would be rather offended by that comment Bruce. What does it Really mean? Perhaps not what the words really say? KH6LC has more hard work in his station than many.

Sometimes someone will get lucky and get excellent 160 meter transmitting and receiving the first try. But most have to work at it  with  isolated directional receiving antenna (s), and  transmitting antenna(s) de-tuned while receiving. A antenna modeling program also helps.
