What does the dog do?  Just give the birds something to aim at other
than the tower?

My golden eagle isn't phased by my three dogs sitting under the 
tower and barking.  And he seems to enjoy riding on the boom when 
I rotate the antenna.

Not sure what is worse -- a lot of little birds or one big one--have
an eagle, some great horned owls (5ft wingspan) and lots of hawks
on my antennas.
