Determine geographic North

Bill,

Who really cares whether the Egyptians are right or wrong! .... what a YAWN. 

Regardless whether it is "due North, due South, magnetic North or magnetic
South" or whatever .... surely that is of little importance. Any 'amateur'
with half a brain, can work out the difference and head his or her beam in
the BEST direction to receive the desired signal.

For goodness sake, give it a break! Just listen and work it!!
