Scott,

First of all thanks for the purchase of a Stack Match. You are correct
and should see a better signal with both beams, most of the time.

I say most since, sometimes the higher, or lower will be stronger than
the stack, depending on angle of takeoff and arrival for that path.

I quite often find my lower or even the middle antenna louder than the
top and the stack, but usually the stack is best. SO.....

I have seen this problem come up now and then, and usually it turns out
to be an out of phase problem. Make sure you have the Baluns exactly
the same. If they are, maybe they were mismarked at the factory and you
should try flipping one of them, (bottom one is easier I would guess).

I am also guessing that the upper and lower antennas do have good SWR
and hopefully almost identical curves.

I am writing this to the whole reflector to let everyone know that we
are very willing to help anyone with Dunestar products. Please feel
free to email Ron and me or call us as well.

Let me know what you find Scott.

Hang in there, It will work, just gotta figure out whats going on.

Jay, WX0B
