To get the magnetic variation, or declination, go to the following web address:

	http://www.geolab.nrcan.gc.ca/cgi-bin/geomag/run_mirp

Just insert your latitude and longitude and it gives you the 
 declination in degrees and minutes East or West.  e.g. 15 deg. 22 
 minutes East in Felton, CA.
