Two comments (and then no more from me):
1. The USA's motto really isn't E Pluribus Unum - it's "if it's good 
enough for Brunei, it's good enough for us."
2. If metric is so wonderful, how come there aren't 100 seconds in a 
minute, 100 minutes in an hour, 10 hours in a day, and 100 days in 
a year?
