Hi George. You are correct, there is an awful lot to be said for being
able to switch between antennas instead of rotating. Phil KT3Y with his
assortment of wire arrays in various directions and at various heights is
a good example. Someone with a yard full of trees and a little savvy with
a bow and arrow can be competitive without putting a lot cash into
antennas. Lot to be said for making top ten with wires.
