An alternative to some of the ways mentioned here is to use the strap-on
(plumb)leveling devices sold at Home Depot and similar stores for putting up
deck supports. They are cheap, work well, and you can easily afford to strap
one to each tower leg. Remember also that any deviation from absolute plumb
is expressed in the construction trades in terms of the width of a pubic
hair, with the male being the largest deviation from true plumb. If you're
lucky, they'll know about this at the Home Despot.
