I use a 0.5" dia. ferrite rod (toroid works also) with a ~ 6 bifilar turns of
enameled magnet wire... i.e common mode choke... Wire size and number of turns
are power and frequency dependent... 
Caveat Emptor: SAR BNI YMMV
