[TowerTalk] Bird Line sect on top of a tower??

I have a spare Bird line section that I would like to install on the top
of my tower..Has anyone ever done this?? I figured putting a 1KW slug up
there to read forward power or should I put a 50 Watt slug to read
reflected power??...I have a spare meter for the shack.. For the coax run
from the meter to the line section, will RG59 work OK?
Any suggestions??  Thanks in advance...
