[TowerTalk] 1 5/8" Heliax - Need Advice

I recently acquired a quantity of Andrew HJ7-50A 1 5/8" air dielectric Heliax.
Big Stuff !

Are there any easy (and less expensive) methods of keeping moisture out ?
Are there alternatives to purchasing gas barrier connectors (approx $250 each)
and pressurizing the cable with nitrogen ?
