I've had mine on a HAM-IV for 3 yrs or so with absolutely no problems. 
Have moved the rotator a couple of times for various reasons without
having to disconnect it, and it still works.  I am not a fan of plastic
connectors, but this one seem to be OK, and certainly a lot better than
the terminal strip once you get it installed.
