I agree about the worth of the transit.  I also bought a Sears transit and
found that it does have more of a learning curve than I had expected, but
after you learn all the kinks, it really makes plumbing a tower much simpler
-- especially since I guy all my towers from four directions.  Three
directions might require more setups of the transit.
