[TowerTalk] Look-arounds vs. Ring Rotators

I wonder if there has been discussion/comparison of look-arounds vs.
ring rotators:
Who makes 'em?
What's wrong with 'em?
What's right with 'em?

I've seen a lot of grumbling here about the TIC ring woes - makes me
wonder if the pain (how bad is it?) that a regular look-around causes a
rotator may just be worthwhile in the end.
