[TowerTalk] Understanding/Producing Scientific Literature

The response to my pair of notes related to scientific literature and
invention has been sufficiently good that I have placed them together at
the site.  I added a third nugget that fell out of an old notebook, but
will not distribute it separately--because I promised not to in my last
distribution.  The item is among the entries headed "A Little History"
because--while timeless--they are old.  Indeed, it is something of a shock
to realize that you are old enough to have a history.
I hope the item may be (recreationally) useful to someone.
